44 years of experience supporting blind and visually impaired individuals: 21 years as the Ladies’ Committee of Invidentes Unidos de Monterrey and 26 years since the founding of Destellos de Luz.
We are supported by faithful and generous benefactors who join their efforts with ours, helping us move forward. We are deeply grateful to each one of them for their trust and exemplary commitment.
The driving force of our mission is our generous team of 110 medical specialists (ophthalmologists, anesthesiologists, and internists) who selflessly donate their time and expertise.
The great satisfaction of having our own center, located on land granted by the Municipality of San Pedro Garza García, where we now have the medical facilities and spaces necessary to provide comprehensive care to our beneficiaries.

Thanks to the joint efforts of our doctors, volunteers, and benefactors, we have been able to donate thousands of eye surgeries and treatments to individuals in critical visual conditions, transforming their lives and those of their families forever.
Recognition by the Ministry of Health as a certified institution to receive medical interns, a highly significant achievement.
