What is the Perkins Machine?

It is used to teach students how to write with the Braille system. It has six keys corresponding to Braille dots, a central space bar, a key on the left side that changes lines, and a key on the far right that allows you to go back one or more boxes on the same line.

To form each letter, the dots that make it up must be pressed simultaneously. The machine reproduces the letters on paper exactly as they are read.

The person can immediately read and correct what is written.
